AWAKENING EMOTIONS

THAT TRANSFORM EVERYTHING

We are a  meaning making company . . .

Somos una compañía dedicada a significar

We bring meaning-making to people, companies and governments by transforming emotions into motives, and motives into decisions capable of sustaining relationships, strategies and projects with continuity.

We work based on recent discoveries in neuroscience, complexity sciences and organization understood as a natural science. Our approach combines sensitivity with proprietary methodologies to give direction to what matters through the universal language of emotions.

For more than 30 years we have contributed to bringing meaning to strategies and events for organizations such as Mars, Nestlé, Kellogg and Unilever; we have supported papal visits, State summits, conventions, launches and executive leadership sessions; as well as the creation of emotional narrative for millions of people during the COVID-19 pandemic. We also collaborate with governments around the world and work in refugee camps, helping bring new meaning to the lives of those who have lost everything.

A través de los significados se mueve todo

...to make people feel important.

Drops of Water

Meaning-making is . . .

To bring to life the motives of a person, a couple, a company, or a culture — uniting what is important to each one with what is important to others — through what we feel.

The language of emotions is universal and very powerful, because when we can feel what others feel, we understand them; and by understanding them, we find the meaning of walking together, celebrating life, following a strategy, solving problems, and achieving any goal through what we turn into our meanings.

...use our capacity to transform.

The Meaning Making Company ®

Above all, we are people driven by meanings.

The Meaning Making Company ® Logo

Following a continuity-based approach and using our own methodologies, The Meaning Making Company® is made up of interdisciplinary groups of specialists who, according to the needs of each project, work by aligning the motives that drive people with the changing contexts that surround them.

Through Signification, we change the stories that shape history.

We collaborate with the world's largest companies and organizations

Companies we have worked for

and with the little ones

To mean, you don't need to be a big company

You need to be open to understanding all the pieces

that builds the code of motives and the way they are modulated according to changes.

The Meaning Making Company® offers several formats

of services: from organizational cultures, events, and meetings, to establishing definitions

that helps to understand phenomena.

Some examples we can share:

APEC Gender Summit 2002

STATE SUMMIT: APEC

GENDER PERSPECTIVE

Before #MeToo existed, representatives from 21 countries were outlining, at the Gender Summit within the APEC framework, which we organized, the first strokes of an era of women's empowerment. Among the topics of greatest interest to the world of meaning, the redefinition of gender roles stands out as a transformative force in the world. Men and women find ourselves redesigning gender roles in relation to ourselves, to each other, and to others, creating a world of contrasts that, while moving at different speeds, is also moving in a single direction: the redefinition of gender.

Refugee

REFUGEE CAMPS

INTERCULTURAL RESIGNIFICATION

There are approximately one hundred million refugees in the world, and perhaps those unfamiliar with their plight overlook the effort they make beyond the daily struggle for survival: the struggle to live permanently in a space designed to be temporary. Imagine having to share your home, your food, and your time with people who belong to the "side" that forced you to leave your home. They, like you, refused to join the violence, but that never meant abandoning their beliefs or their values. By working in refugee camps and organizing projects, we contribute to cultural reinterpretation, resulting in a fusion of wills: human beings who set aside their differences to rebuild their reality. Four years ago we started with Joseph Tchomba, and today, we have more than 2,000 refugees working on different projects, teenagers as young as 13 who are pregnant as a result of rape, young people who considered becoming criminals, women and men who had everything taken from them and, thanks to their ability to find new meaning, are emerging with strength, finding continuity, love and universal support again.

INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

OECD - PARIS, FRANCE / SIGNIFICANCE OF DISASTERS

Imagine sitting in a meeting with the representative of the UN Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, alongside a group of specialists trying to save lives in critical situations, and realizing that we humans don't have a clear definition of crisis or disaster. By providing the elements to build a shared understanding of these and other concepts, we transform the management of complex situations. We are the authors of the scientific definition of the terms crisis and disaster, from which we designed the Universal Disaster Magnitude Scale, contributing the appropriate approach to understanding and interacting with natural and social phenomena. This has made us a key element in the evolution of human consciousness regarding the behavior of evolutionary mechanics in the natural order.

Covid19 Nurse

COVID-19 PANDEMIC

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PHENOMENON

Never before in the history of the modern era has it been so important to give meaning to a phenomenon in order to understand it—and thus, to interact with it. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we helped populations find meanings that allowed them to align the phenomenon with the changes in their lifestyle—because, quite literally, their survival depended on it. Thanks to the success of this effort, many governments found in our services the solutions to create narrative, design social training programs, and mitigate the emotional effects that the pandemic caused in their people. Through re-signification, for many, the COVID-19 pandemic became an evolutionary phenomenon that restored displaced values which, in turn, completely reshaped motives, convictions, and ways of life.

NOTE FOR CORPORATE OFFICES:

Although our experience is 80% comprised of corporate cases, for privacy reasons we cannot share any examples.

Instead, we can tell you that we have participated in the transformation of organizational culture at a global level, of transnational companies, in the adaptation of values in changing environments, we have been involved in nearly five hundred corporate events, managing to renew the motivations of work groups, clients and suppliers.

Organizing meaningful events is our main tool, through our firm Casa Santa Fe Corporate Events.
